Visit to Plaisterers' Hall, London
Deacon Grant Macleod attended the Worshipful Company of Plaisterers' Dinner for Masters and Clerks at Plaisterers' Hall at One London Wall, London on Tuesday 9th January 2024. He was welcomed by the Master Tony Mitchell and Deputy Master Stephen Gilbert while Past Master Michael Hall, a member of our Incorporation, made him very welcome at the dinner. Toasts were very short (hip hip!) and the reply to the guests was by Prof. Charles Mackworth-Young, Prime Warden of the Goldsmiths' Company.
As can be seen from below, the Hall is hiding behind the Roman wall and from the plaque the Livery Company received its Charter of Incorporation in 1501 by King Henry VII so exactly 50 years older the our Incorporation.
