Deacon Conveners
Deacon Conveners are chosen by the trustees of the Trades House of Glasgow and the roll of Deacon Conveners is given below as a number of members of the Incorporation have held this high office. The Trades House Mace (illustrated above) which is used at all Trades House Official Functions was presented to the House by the Master Court and Past Deacons of the Incorporation of Masons of Glasgow in 1928 to mark the appreciation of the honour conferred on their Incorporation by the election of Past Deacon Sir John Train as Deacon Convener of the Trades.
