Visit to the Provand's Lordship
On 26th July, the Incorporation visited the Provand's Lordship in Castle Street to present the first House Master Bryce Award to Baillie Annette Christie and Glasgow Life for the amazing rendering of the 1471 building - one of only four surviving medieval buildings in Glasgow. We were warmly received by Phillipa MacInnes, Museums Manager of Glasgow Life and Scott Abercrombie of John Gilbert Architects gave a fascinating insight into the history and update on the new £1.6m repair of the rendering of the house. Hopefully, this will ensure that many generations will be able to enjoy this magnificent piece of history so very well done to all involved from the Incorporation.

Also, as part of the day, PD Gordon Weetch, his wife Rona and Deacon Grant Macleod visited the stained glass window in the link corridor of the Royal Infirmary (Gordon was Deacon when the window was installed).
